Dear Ott Family,
I am unable to be at the service today for Lorraine, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed her whenever I had the chance to chat! She was truly a lovely person and so sweet! You have been in my thoughts and prayers!
Sincerely,
Julie Cox

Dear Ott Family:
Vicki and I are very sorry that we cannot attend the funeral for dear Lorraine. We will be out of town as we so often are since retirement. Lorraine was precious to us for several reasons, but especially because almost 7 years ago we were privileged to purchased her much-loved home in Lakeshore Estates, which we love as much as she did. Our interactions with your family at that time are remembered with much fondness. Through the years Bill and Lorraine made an impact on our lives, at church and in the church family, even the day when "Bobber Bill" took his pastor fishing again on the big lake when it was choppy, but had to bring him back to land, as he said on his radio, because "I have a greenie on board." (We were catching fish!) Vicki and I each had good visits with Lorraine at Crownpointe and respected her as a lady of Christian faith and patience. Now she's home to heaven by faith in Jesus. Let that be your comfort as you remember the blessings God gave to Lorraine and through Lorraine to each of you. In Christian love, Retired Pastor and Vicki Schroer

Lorraine had been an avid seamstress in her lifetime, a skill I shared with her here at Crown Pointe Retirement Center. Lorraine liked to play a good game of scrabble and she excelled at putting together the little words with the most points!
Despite her handicap, she always had a pleasant disposition and I enjoyed her company immensely. I have many warm memories stored away of her. Andrea Barowicz

Lorraine was like a sister to me. When I came from my home in Chicago to visit grandparents
down the road from where Lorraine lived, I would make my way to visit with Lorraine. We shared so much together.
We worked together at the Lighthouse Attic & enjoyed going out to lunch whenever possible. Now it's like a part of me is gone also.
She will be missed. I always looked forward to visiting with her every Spring when I come back to visit from my home now in Wisconsin. I will love her forever.
