George made the right choices at Fires, the right Boss to have at a fire scene. I remember the store he had on Grand River down the street from Christ the King my kids would stop in for a bottle of pop. It was a once in a life time event to work with him. Agnes & I will be prayers for George & the family.

My Dear George: I will miss your smiling face and wonderful personality. I have truly enjoyed the years spent as your neighbor. You and Doris were the best! My little dog Snuggo loved you so and he will miss you also. Rest in peace, dear friend.

Benno and Suzannne, Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. We will always remember George and his support of the soccer team and being on the sidelines cheering them on. Also, when he drove or walked by and we were working in the garden, he always stopped to say hello. Sincerely, Ray and Lucia

My deepest sympathies to the Main family for their loss. I barely knew George and Doris, but admired them immensely. May the Peace of God be upon all who wait their turn.

..you awoke in heaven's courtyard, free from pain within. The angels gathered 'round you and they took you by the hand... they gave you your awaited wings, and told you, you are one of us now. You are home my dear sweet guy, I will miss you so. I saw you one last time and you tried so hard to tell me something, when I heard the news you went home to god, I now know what you were telling me. This will be the last time we see each other. I grew to love you like a grandpa, we had many talks, you became "MY GUY". I cannot express how much I will miss you. You are no longer in pain my dear sweet guy. You are finally home where you belong. Now I can say you are my guardian angel. Til we meet again one day. May you rest in peace "MY GUY"!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Suzy, I just wanted to share this with you and to tell you how much George meant to me, I will miss him dearly.

To the family of George and Doris Main, I was sorry to read about the passing of George in the Frankenmuth News. I often visited with them while they lived in town. Very nice people. George went to many ball games while he was here. He loved the fast pitch game, and we shared several stories. They went to Blessed Trinity Church too. I did not know that Doris had passed either. May God bless all of you during this Christmas season. I am sure that George and Doris are with you in Spirit at this time.
