MRS. JOHNSON WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE. WHENEVER I SAW HER, SHE GREETED ME WITH A HUG AND BEAUTIFUL SMILE. SHE WAS A VERY CARING GRANDMOTHER. I HAD HER GRANDSON, ANTHONY IN SCHOOL. SHE WAS ONE OF THOSE "SPECIAL GRANDPARENTS" WITH A HEART OF GOLD. MAY GOD BLESS HER FAMILY AND MAY YOU RIP.

Miss Dickie was truly one of the most kindest and sweetest human beings to ever live. She was so warm and gentle. Her smile would light up the room. One conversation with her would surely brighten up your day. I grew up as her neighbor and she always looked out for all the Briar Hills kids. She will truly be missed. God certainly has a new angel in heaven now.

When I was in high school I worked part time at the South Haven Hospital and knew Dickie Johnson as a nurses aid. She was a joy to know. Kind, understanding, gentle, a truly wonderful person. Everything about her was beautiful. The fact that a high school kid, 17 years old at the time, remembers her 48 years later says a great deal about Dickie Johnson. May God bless her family and welcome Dickie into her heavenly home.

Dennis and I send our regrets to your family. Your mother has touched our lives many times throughout the years. Dennis has fond memories of Dicki from River Terrace apartments and how pleasant she was. I remember when I first met her years ago when she was working at South Haven Hospital. We both remember her coming to Open Door. Knowing that our loving Sister Dicki has passed from her journey on earth to continue on with her spiritual journey with our Lord. Your mom was truly an inspiration always to us. Our prayers are with you during this time. Dicki was a beautiful woman filled with kindness, acceptance, and love. Dennis & Idy
