Mitchell, In the pain of your loss, reach deeply into your being and access the love and all the good memories that will forever reside there. Those are what will sustain you until you meet again. Penny & Rodger, Family and friends are the pillars on your porch. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes they lean on you, and sometimes it's just enough to know that they are standing by. You two will certainly be each other's pillars. Godspeed. Cathryn

Dear sweet Penny, my thoughts are with you. I am so glad I was able to meet Rodger. When I've seen you together and the stories you have told me of your camping trips together and how much you love spending time together, it was so obvious how you looked at each other, how much in love you both are. I am here for you always.

Penny, At a time like this, we are at a loss for words to express our condolence to someone who has lost a loved one. How to say it to bring comfort? How to say that we care? How to say that we understand? It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. I am so sorry for your loss. I know this has been a long battle for you and your family. My prayers and thoughts are with you And hoping, too, That comfort and peace May come to you.

Penny: I just wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear of Rodger's passing. It was such a pleasure getting to know both of you even if it was at the Cancer Center. He was always so positive and you were such GREAT support for him. I know before I left for FL he was experiencing some pretty bad pain. At least now he is pain free and no longer suffering. Your heart will have a hole in it for awhile but hopefully that hole will fill again with all the wonderful memories of the life you two shared. Take care and know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Jackie Stults

Penny, We've never had or ever will have better neighbors. Rodger was a selfless person and always there with a smile and a positive word. Everything he did was first class and he valued his family, friends and his craft. We are lucky to have known him.

Penny, I was so sorry to hear of Rodger's passing. He fought a long and hard battle against the cander that eventually took his life. I only met on a few occasions. He was always cheerful and never complained or showed any emotion regarding his illness. He was a neat guy. My best to you.
