Our most sincere condolences go out to Jerry, John and Joe. We will remember Karna as a terrific wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a sunny disposition and was fun to be around. When you were a guest in their house, it seemed like you were always the center off attention. We were fortunate to help Karna and Jerry celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary the week before she passed away. Karna was a lovely lady and will be missed by family and her many, many friends. Karna was a great friend and coworker. We spent some time together with her as harbor master and me as chief of police. She had a great smile and always a kind word. I hadn't seen her for some time, then this summer there she was a Wal Mart. She hollered at me half way across the store! We got to speak for a short period of time. My God bless all of you and keep her soul.

Mr. Globensky, Johnny, and Joe, I have the fondest memories of our families together and growing up ever since I can remember. Your home in Grand Rapids,Sat night hockey games with parents going out afterwards while the kids stayed behind. South Haven visits, the beach, wonderful lunches and dinners with fresh produce from your garden. Sitting around listing to the funny stories of the parents, dating, and setting up Karna and Jerry. As us kids got older, the times at Christmas with the "Family Picture". Your mom was always upbeat and smiling, wanting to take care of us all! I'm so fortunate to have had her in my life along the way and now as an adult glad my own family had the opportunity to know her as well. I will miss her dearly. My family sends their condolences, and will keep you all in our prayers. We look forward to celebrating the life of a very special woman, Karna! Lots of Love, Lisa (Mike, Jared, and Morgan)

Uncle Jerry One fond memory I have of Aunt Karna is when I was 7 or 8 years old you and Aunt Karna took me to the Speedrome. You bent over and whispered in my ear to tell Aunt Karne "You have teeth like stars.....they come out at night". I don't think she spoke to either one of us the rest of the evening. I also remember the times you would pick me up on Bayles St and we would go clear brush on some lake lot that you owned. We will miss Aunt Karna. Fred and Julie

Aunt Karna was a vibrant woman whose journey was cut short. She was always gracious to our family and opening her home up to us. Though it's been years since I have seen Aunt Karna & Uncle Jerry the memories I have are fresh, full of love and fondness. I am running the Baystate Marathon in Lowell, MA on 10.17.10. The memory of her passion for life and being on the go will bring me the strength and guidance I need to push forward. You are all in my heart, Love Pam Houlihan & Family

To Karna's family & friends- I met Karna 6 yrs. ago, when I worked at Curves and she came in daily to workout. She was a remarkable woman, always smiling and so vibrant. She gave me so many "Helpful Hints" for my new Flower Garden. May all of you find comfort in all the memories she has left you with, as I do. Vickie Smith

Dear Mr. Globensky, John and Joe, I am so saddened to hear about Karna. I was just talking to my mom the other day and she mentioned how Karna had sent her another knitting "recipe" as they had called them but for some other reason, they also talked together on the phone. I guess it's never too late to share memories but more importantly to share conversation and i am so glad they had that. May you please take comfort in the little things that people will always remember. Because a little goes a long way. Most Sincerely, Lisa Kozel LeVasseur

Jerry & Family and all of the extended family of which John and I have felt a part of from the moment we met Karna & Jerry, Karna's sudden passing is just too difficult right now to really process. Many say that "time heals", but the truth of the matter is "God heals" and He is always there for you and each one of us during the most difficult of times. As Helen Keller once said "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us". Karna is just that, so much a part of all of us. She is the example to all of us, too, living life to the fullest, living a life with so much love and energy...what an awesome lady to the world. I can see her with her new body running and laughing above with her Heavenly Father. Jerry, we are here for you anytime. Much love, Berti & John Young

Karna always had a smile on her heart as long as I knew her. We spent time working together for several years while she was working for the city of South Haven. Although we had not seen eachother in 10 years or so, recently we ran into eachother in St Joe...In her typical fashion she greated me with a smile a hug and then we spent 15 minutes catching up....What a classy lady who put her family on the highest of pedestals.

Karna, I was surprised that God called you home so soon. I guess He needed you for something extra special. I'm sure you will get there and take charge right away. I can see you directing the angels all the way. Maybe he was missing a woman's golf pro. You certainly knew a lot about golf! I learned a lot from you. Your spirit was like a ray of sunshine. It was nice when you were able to play. On the days we got to play in the same cart you were a wealth of wisdom. I don't know if there was ever a subject that you couldn't help me out with. I am so blessed to have known you! Our loss is Heaven's perfect gain. Rest in peace. You are in my heart forever! Love ya Theressa Jerry, I wish I could take your pain away, I can't. But I do know of someone who can hold you and comfort you through it all. He was beside me all the way with Mom and I know He will be there for you as well! If you ever need anything, I am only two houses away! Love ya! Theressa

Jerry, John, Joe and Family You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of my friend, Karna. Karna treated me good as a co-worker and stood up for me a lot of times. She will be truly missed by me. She often talked about her new grandchildren that she and Jerry inherited and how she was going to spoil them rotten. May GOD bless you and your family and help you to take one day at a time.

As part of our stitching group on Hilton Head Island, Karna was not only a joy to have around the table but an accomplished and creative stitcher as well. She was kind, generous with her stitching knowledge and always willing to share a laugh as we worked our way through our projects. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

Karna was a special person to me. She taught a variety of unique classes for me when I seved as the Community Education Director for the SHPS 25 years ago. Playing golf in couples events with her and Jerry was a special treat for both Lynn and I. Her friendliness at Hawkshead while TAKING HER morning walk when I was warming up on the range always made me feel special. God bless Karna and the Globensky family.
