Connie and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Loosing your mother is so hard, she was a lucky woman because she had you loving and caring for her in her final years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

I didn't know Verna personally but I knew her daughter for years. I'd heard from several people that Verna was a sweet, special lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. My heart and prayers go out to her whole family that has lost a loved one. She is not gone forever for she lives on in your hearts for all time.

Connie, Angie and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how hard it is to loose a parent. But know that she is in a good place and is in EXCELLENT company with my mom and dad. I pray that the good Lord wraps his loving arms around each of you during this time. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Georgia & Jeff and family

Death is such an enemy, but the Bible tells us at 1 Corinthians 15:26, that soon 'death will be brought to nothing.' Good news indeed!!! Almost nothing hurts as much as a loved one passing away. However, rest assured of the Bible's promise at Isaiah 26:19, "Your dead ones will live. They will rise up". Other scriptures where you may find comfort is Revelation 21:3,4, and Isaiah 33:24. May you have some comfort in Jesus' promise of a resurrection where you will see your dead loved ones again. This will be a wonderful time in which she can once again listen to the beautiful sound of hummingbirds, watch a magnificent sun rise, and plant seed and watch the results of her meticulous efforts!!!
