There are those people in our lives who we meet, who we feel truly blessed to have spent time with. Maureen is definitely that person to me. Maureen always welcomed me with open arms, and her contagious smile. I am definitely blessed that I got to know Maureen. I wish I could have met her years ago. I think of her often as we have her wedding gifts to Chris and I out in our great room. She will be missed.

Aunt Maureen was so sweet and smart. She and Uncle Buddy sure made Christmas time extra special when I was a child. She was elegant, fun, and a real lady! When I think of Aunt Maureen, I think of Ireland--I wonder if she could be called a 'Corker' ? Probably not I suppose, for me the word refers to someone with a great sense of humor and a fun-loving attitude about life (which reminds me of Aunt Maureen), but some folks may take it as derogatory, so no offense intended.

Maureen you were a dear sister in law to me.You have special memories in my heart. You were part of my wedding 43 years ago. Your Eric's Godmother and you NEVER forgot a birthday to everyone in the family.Buddy and you were so generous to everyone. We had some great times together as the "Golden Girls". Our trip to Europe and all the fun we had and special people that came into our lives will be something you and I said will be in our hearts forever.I am glad it gave you comfort in the end to remember all your travels and you even got to go back to Ireland after your European trip Wow!! what a girl!! You even joked in the finally days Your passport needed to be renewed. Now you can go anywheres and you don't need a passport. You are so special and I will miss you more than words can say. Rest in Peace Maureen. Until we meet again, Love You Always, Janice Flynn

Dear, Dear Maureenie, I will miss your sweet face, your smile and your graciousness . . . and on those rare occasions your innocent mischievousness. As Bruce said at your viewing, it is because of you and Buddy that we are here. You told me after Buddy passed that it was OK because you would not have had the life you did if it wasn't for him, so you celebrate . . . well, all of the cottage family would not have had the life we have had if not for you and Buddy . . . so we celebrate and will think of you always. You touched so, so many lives. Witnessing your strong faith all these years, helps me say goodbye for now. Cheryl
