Mary Lou and Carol Ann, I am sorry about your mother. She was a wonderful person and was always so good to me. I enjoyed working with her at the telephone company and appreciated all of her guidance, both for work and life. Even though I hadn't seen her for awhile, I have fond memories of her. I will miss her Christmas candles in every window from Thanksgiving to New Years. I probably won't be able to make it to her funeral, but wanted you to know I am thinking of you.

Many years ago I journeyed with Cornelia as her Stephen's Minister following the death of her dear husband. How I enjoyed our times together, whether in her living room or at Clementine's over a bowl of potato soup, her favorite. I bless God for her life and kind heart that allowed me entry.

Dear Mary Lou, Jack and I send our deepest sympathy to you, Carol, and your families on the loss of your dear mother. From the time that I was a young child, I have heard my mother and grandmother speak so warmly about Cornelia and James Jorgenson. I always will remember the special visit over 25 years ago when you traveled with your parents to visit my Chicago family. Our two families have strong and life-long connections to each other. I treasure our friendship. Love, Karen

My deepest sympathy. I loved Cornelia very much. Over the years Cornelia and Jim were my parents best friends. We grew up in each other's homes and I have so many memories of these times. One of my last memories of them all together was at the end of my parents lives. Your folks bundled them up in the back of their car and took them for a drive to Ludington for dinner. I think that was the last "date" they went on. Please stay in touch. I'll visit you when I am in Lansing or Chicage. Love, Gail Forry Patten

Mary Lou and Carol Ann, I am sorry that my wife Cindy and I were not able to attend the funeral. I have not been feeling well as of late as I am recovering from a recent surgery; however our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families at this time.
