My sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Jo Ann. I meet Jo back in the 60's when she and Don lived in Saugatuck/Holland. I live in Chicago and spent many weekends in MI, often staying with Jo and Don. We kept in touch for many years, I lost track of her when she was living overseas with Carl. Now I find she was living in Gobles, near mutal friends from Suagatuck days Bob and Pat Bundschuh who reside there also, I wish I had known, she was a very special person in my life. I will always hold her close to my heart. God rest her soul and may perpetual light shine upon her. Thank you Jo Ann for your love and friendship so many years ago. Sincerely, Terry Varga

As Joann was the first of "our generation" her passing opens our eyes to the precious gift of life with which we are blessed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family knowing Joann's suffering has now ended, and we are free to remember all the beautiful things in her life that made her the daughter, sister, mother, cousin, and friend she was to each of us.

JoAnn's family is in our prayers. Although Alan and I live in California, we often think of our extended family Michigan. I can remember when my family lived in Mojave, Ca. and James, Velva and Joann would come to visit us. Our thoughts are with the family at this time. Marilyn Cook and Alan Peck

Dear Dorothy and family: You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I have been remembering the great times we have spent together. The summer I spent time with you and JoAnn at your home in South Haven, and the summer we all had a great time at the lake with Grandma Peck fishing. I am so glad that I was able to make the trips back to Michigan a couple of years ago and spending time with JoAnn. They are all memories I will cherish forever. I hope that all of us cousins can get together for another reunion some day soon. With love, Cousin Nancy

Iam sitting at my desk feeling sorry for myself because Iam having a bad day!My computer is not working up to par and my hair is too curley. THEN I read an email from my good friend Dorothy that her sister just passed away. God please forgive me for feeling so selfish. My heart and my whole being go out to your entire family. May god grant you all peace and strength. Respectfully, Cynthia Friedman Zimmerman

I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to the family of JoAnn at this sad time for them. I am a great friend of her sister Dorothy Cutshaw and during one of my many visits to her I met JoANN and Carl. They welcomed me with great warmth and friendship. Ian Carter
