I loved my Grandmother very much. I have so many memories of her, her yummy potato salad, her knick-nacks that she got from her world travels, but mostly her strength. She was an incredible woman who lived through an incredible time. When she was born, women could not vote, automobiles were barely available, and there was no such thing as computers. She raised kids through the Depression and WW2. I have mixed feelings, as she was old and not herself, but I will still miss her dearly.

What a great lady. I so enjoyed getting to know her during my visits to River Ridge to visit my mom, Ruby Fritz.Her sense of humor, and unmistakable laugh, brightened the day.
