I loved my Grandmother very much. I have so many memories of her, her yummy potato salad, her knick-nacks that she got from her world travels, but mostly her strength. She was an incredible woman who lived through an incredible time. When she was born, women could not vote, automobiles were barely available, and there was no such thing as computers. She raised kids through the Depression and WW2. I have mixed feelings, as she was old and not herself, but I will still miss her dearly.

I will miss helping her out of the car and into her chair. I will miss pushing her up the ramp. I will miss bringing her to the dinner table. I will miss her for still rembering my name, and thanking me for it. I will miss her for letting me call her Grandma!

What a great lady. I so enjoyed getting to know her during my visits to River Ridge to visit my mom, Ruby Fritz. Her sense of humor, and unmistakable laugh, brightened the day. God bless. JIM

I am very sorry to hear of Mrs. Baer's passing. I remember her well. She was a music teacher in Covert when I went to school there. She played the piano and us kids sang. I guess I was fun. And I really remember Mr. Baer. I had more than one 'audience' in his office. He was the Principal in Covert. And I took an Algebra class with him which I just barely passed...with a D. I think he took pity on me. My Condolences to the family. Cecil Sisson
