Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your mother was a lovely, gracious lady who made a big impression on my life. Sue, We had so much fun and laughter together in your home. Just last week, I was walking with a friend past the house where you lived with your Mom and Dad when you first came to South Haven. I pointed out the house and told my friend about watching the moon landing at your home and how we had stayed up most of the night watching the flag "wave" in the breeze...and how we laughed so when we realized that the moon had no breeze! I remember warm toothpaste and cold peanut butter at your house! I remember how warm and comfortable your house felt and how caring your parents were to me. God Bless you all! Deb

Bruce and I were so glad to be able to visit with Aunt Elizabeth last week on our Honeymoon. She was resting comfortably. Twice she opened her eyes and recognized us. The first time she acknowledged Bruce and said, "that's a good name" (in reference to cousin Bruce). The second time she read Bruce's shirt, which said "Purdue", and responded, "the OTHER Indiana University". She still had her sense of humor, even near the end. I will treasure warm memories of Aunt Elizabeth. Memories of meals together at Thanksgiving, good times at Lake James, and special times at family weddings. She was a gracious and wonderful lady! We will miss her dearly.

The South Haven Scott Club has lost a great friend and supporter. Elizabeth was our President from 1973 to 1975 and thereafter an enthusiastic member. She joined in 1968 and I believe was one of our most outstanding and long standing members. She knew the by-laws and was often a reference for questions that needed answering. A brave woman who let little get her down. She will be a missed presence.

My deepest condolences on your loss. Elizabeth was a real great lady. I will miss her Persimmon pudding and unique ability to deal with the likes of the Quincy Clarks of the world! :) Glad she is going back home to Bloomington. -Andy Culley
