I have been blessed to have such an amazing wonderful uncle - full of laughter and knowledge with a kind spirit and a gentle heart. He was truly a gentleman and a role model for future generations. May his spirit live on in his children and his grandchildren.

I cared for Everett the last few months of his life and I just wanted to say that I was very honored. Everett was a very kind and fair employer. I enjoyed hearing his stories and learned a lot about gardening from him this summer. It was hard for Everett to ask for help, but the fact that when he did need it, he asked me, was truly a blessing and an honor for me. Thank you for the opportunity that he gave me.

Uncle Everett will be greatly missed. We always enjoyed getting his Christmas updates. It was very clear he loved and was proud of his family and wanted to share their joys and accomplishments with others. Our hearts are with Ruth, Barb and Robert at this time.

Ruth, I can not begin to say how much we have enjoyed living across the street from you. We will miss Everett working in the yard with his lawn tractor. Or chatting with him about his childhood. I am happy you were able to meet little Ruby today. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Carole

Dear Mom, I will always treasure that Everett and you were a wonderful example for Tom and I (as well as for our girls), of a couple truely in love and devoted to one another. Dear Rob and Barb, As parents often do, your father may not have told you how proud he was of you; but I would like to assure you that he did share with me on many occassions how proud he was of both your accomplishments. His involvement in your lives is a testament of his great love for you. I see much of Everett's wonderful character living on in you both. Dear Margret, It was a pleasure getting to you you better in these past two months. Your devotion to your brother was a beautiful sign of your love for him. Always, Nancy

Controlled Rubber was my 1st job out of High School and Mr.Harrison would always talk to me, about life and how things were going, and mostly, what did I want to do with my life. I worked there twice a total of 4yrs. He was a role model for me and an example of what real men contributed to this world. What he gave to us all, "A Chance" is his legacy. I will never forget him. I will keep all of you in my prayers. On behalf of my mother Barbara, who also worked there for 15yrs, she considered him not only a boss, but a friend. There was a very special bond and loyality she and everyone that worked for him felt. We will never forget him. Linda(Allen)Barton Barbara(Driver)Chambers
