What a struggle he has had. But, Patrick is healthy, again, and experiencing the love and peace of being in His presence. God is good.

Jackie, now I have to get my own Christmas trees and gingerbread house. And I guess new pots and pans too. I can't say all I want to say right now; but, I think you know how much I needed you in my life. I also hope you knew you were always going to be in our (Devin, Lorna, Victoria and Nate's) life. In, or out of our home. Looking back on the past week there was a reason we kept going back and forth to the doctor's office and everywhere in between. I'm glad we spent that time together. Fennville at the park, momma's grave, and "just watching the cars go by at dialysis". I'll eat an extra plate of spaghetti, lasangne and barbecue for you-remember you stuffed yourself when we had it. If I see someone with a U of M shirt on, I'll knock 'em on the head and say Michigan State all the way. When I dropped you off at the nursing home my last words to you were thank you, I want to add "see you later". Always thought of and loved. Nikki

Dear Jackie, I don't think you realize the impact you had on my life, family and friends. I still remember you always next to our Mother. You were here "baby boy" and will always be with her for eternity. Thank you for your determination to live and how you have inspired me to work hard and always keep a smile on my face. I'll miss you dearly, your big sister, Tanya.

Uncle Jackie- You were my favorite growing up. While everyone else was worried about bills and living life with their head down, you showed that life can be fun with a dirt road and a imagination. My childhood was filled with excitement because the only thing that mattered to you was using life for joy. I hope others can take your joy and passion for life and apply it to theirs. Thank you with love, Keady

After reading all of these great postings I know you're looking down at us laughing at the love everyone is showing. You always liked to travel and now you have made the greatest journey to God's Kingdom. I can see it now, you and mama back in that old blue pick-up you had traveling on down the road. Be at peace!!! Uncle Jackie, I love you. I am so happy that I had an Uncle like you in my life. You were such a unique, caring, and honest person. I can remember spending summers with you and Grandma. I remember when you would try to teach me to draw like you. I remember going to Simpson Lake to try to catch minnows. Oh there are so many memories. I am not sad about your death because you are not in any pain anymore. I am deeply sadden because I will miss you, just like I miss Grandma and Grandpa.

Words have always come easily for me, but they fail me right now. I grieve for my cousin [I'll always remember little Jackie] and I hold my surviving cousins in my heart. I remember when all of you were born and I remember seeing all of you mature into wonderful adults who love each other dearly. Hold fast to your memories and celebrate the life that Jackson Patrick led so well and for so long. His life was short, but he will live on in your hearts. Love to all of you [Tanya down through Candy] from your cousin, Martha.

Years from now I will tell my kids and grandkids about how you got me D-rex. You spoiled me and my sisters. I enjoyed how you taught me to draw. You helped me with my racecar for boy scouts. It was fun when we both went to Allegan Dam, to go fishing. I caught my first fish. I was so happy, I didn't know who was happier you are me. You started clapping and laughing. I was scared to unhook the fish, but you did it for me; and put it back into the water. I hope you have a nice time with grandma and granda. love devin

Thanks to your influence on my wife, I've watched "Gunsmoke," "The Big Valley" and "Andy Griffith" more than I can count. I won't forget the time we went to see "American Gangster" or how excited you were to talk about "The Unit." Good thing they canceled it, though. Not sure I could watch it the same way anymore. I wish Kristina had more time to spend with you and I wish you had gotten to meet your youngest nephew, Derek. But they'll know plenty about you through Candy's stories. Peace out!

I pray that God will call to remembrance all of your wonderful memories with Patrick. Even though God called him home, you are BLESSED to have shared with him. Love to you all! Eden Barbee-Mabry

I feel sad that Patrick had such a difficult time with his health, and for these last few years. I rejoice that he no longer has these struggles, and is now safe, healthy and whole in the arms of Jesus. My sympathies go out to his siblings, nieces and nephews, who obviously loved him dearly.

McCrary family, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of Patrick. I have nothing but great memories and enjoyed the times we hung out together while we were growing up. Pat was such a good sport. One of the memories I have of Pat is, even though he was a sprinter, we talked him into running cross country with us. Patrick and family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rafael

I couldn't be there with all of you, but my heart and thoughts were with you all. I felt your pain when you had to say goodbye, but know this that Jackie was a very sweet and loving child and a loving, carefree adult and he will never suffer again. He will be sorely missed. Patrick was always such a happy face in the kitchen at Clementine's. He would always say hello, and kept a positive outlook no matter what the day brought. I never had a chance to meet his family, but he often spoke of them with such pride and joy. He will be missed, and he will be remembered fondly.

McCrary Family - I was so sorry to hear about Patrick also known as Jackie. Your mother, Betty was an aide in my special education classroom in Fennville several years ago. She was a special friend of mine as were all of you. I remember when you stopped by the classroom and she would insist that you speak and were mannerly. May God wrap His loving arms around you and give you peace and comfort.
