Hello Clare and Sally, Just to let you know that Ray and I are thinking about you both. I only met your Mom once or twice but she struck me as a lovely woman. I have told Sally about one very sweet memory was a while ago when we all were laughing and eating at Weaver Street market. After we had finished our brunch together your mom pulled me aside to assure me that she appreciated a good joke too! Although she was not very participatory at this point in her life it was important to her that I know this. I was sure that her real self did enjoy a good joke and that she loved to laugh. All our love, Peg and Ray

Claire, Sally and the remainder of your wonderful family, Kay and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to you all in the loss of Mrs. Adkin. Although we never really got to know her it was obvious from next door that when she was around for family gatherings she completed your family picture. Our prayers are with you.

To the Family, May each of you know that God is "near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34;18) He has promised to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) Take care,

Mom Adkin, Although your physical body has left us, your spirit remains in our heart, mind and through the lives of your children and grandchildren. Thanks for always giving me a smile and giving me my "best friend - Suzanne." You have left us with love and enjoyment of the simple pleasures of life. I'm sure Dad Adkin has been waiting on you and welcomes you into his arms again and I bet he has a sweet roll waiting on you. To the family.....my deepest, deepest sympathy and love. Remeber, she will never leave you as long as you have memories. I'm thankful I've shared some laughs and memories with a few of you. God's Peace Dena (B #1) Charleston, SC

I am sorry you lost your mother. It is so hard to see all of our parents pass. Every time one of my class mates or childhood friends looses a parent, I feel such sympathy for them. My thoughts have always included each of you over the years and now my prayers also.

We just read your mother's obituary in the South Haven Tribune. Please accept our belated condolences and know that we would have been there for you at the funeral. The Adkins, Leevers, and Paquins have many fond family memories for me. Do you think Mike greeted Doris at the Pearly Gates with a martini and Domagio's pizza? Please keep in touch and stop by "six chip" in South Haven if you are in the area. You are always welcome.
