Gin was a great friend to my wife, Julia and I for many ,many years. She was a great woman who will live in the hearts of her friends and family forever. Our deepest sympathies to all the family. Howard and Gina(Howard's daughter)

I have many fond memories of my Grandma Gerling. When we were kids she always baked a special cake for my birthday, complete with a birthstone angel. She made squash because I liked it. We never got yelled at for sprinting down the back hall in her big house, although I know she heard us. As an adult, she always acknowledged my birthday with a card and a check. I felt silly, like I'd outgrown it but she still wanted to do it. I loved playing Boggle with her, she always won. I loved her laugh and her generosity. Grandma, you were lovely and I miss you!
