My friend, my teammate, I miss you already. We went through a LOT of things together, and I will always remember so many events in our lives. To the family, our thoughts are with you.

Gary - My brother. You are the one who always wanted to help whenever you could. Even on the last day we talked, you helped Jackie by telling her it would tickle to have her cast removed. You should have seen her face light up when the doctor actually told her it would tickle! And even though Calvin was always so quiet around you, asked about you first thing when he got in my car after school. Joe will be lost when we go to mom’s and you're not there to watch the games with. As a kid, I remember looking out your bedroom window at night to see if we could see Santa Claus. I’ll never forget watching you play football and wrestle in high school. As adults, we had just tons of fun and good times together. Whether it was just you and I, or Ward, you and I, or whoever we were with, we had fun. And, you always seemed to get the lousy hands playing Pinochle, but you hung in there and we had fun anyway. I don’t think anybody believes you’re gone now. But, we all know you are not in pain anymore.

So sorry to read about Gary. I have not seen him since high school; he was my first serious boyfriend. What a nice guy. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.

I have not seen Gary in about twenty years, yet I still remember him as a classmate and a great teammate. Gary could tell me a story that would make me laugh. I offer my condolences to his family.
