I had the pleasure of working with Larry over the last several months. He made several contributions and I was impressed by his skills to quickly understand and help resolve issues. God bless you. I can see that Larry blessed many lives.

I have such a hard time believing this has happened. Every time I ran into Larry he was upbeat. I always spent lots of time talking with him and forgetting to do whatever else I was supposed to be doing. Every time, he told me that the direction I was going in my life was the right one. Lucy, I am thinking about you and hope you will be okay. Your grief is my grief.

Although I have many good memories of the time I've spent with Stephanie and her dad a few small but meaningful things stick out in my mind. I remember walking through the door to their home and as soon as I opnened the door, I'd see him sitting at the table with a grin on his face. Everytime he'd see me he'd call out, "Look, it's the brown-haired girl!" Brown-haired girl became pretty much my second name. I came to answer to it and everything. I also remember going to the park within walking distance of the Phillips' house. Steph and I would beg and beg until Mr. Phillips would give in and walk with us down to the park. He was such a great dad to Stephanie and Shannon and everyone that met him knew that. Not many others would run around a playground with his daughter and friend, but he did. And that's what I remember best about Mr.Phillips, all the fun, caring, and thoughtful ways he'd put into making other people happy.

Lucy: Ben Hammond sent out a message about the unfortunate loss you have experienced. I am deeply sorry for your loss. My brother Mike died of cancer in May and I miss him deeply. I can't imagine the pain you are in now but know that you are remembered warmly from an old friend from Western. May your family and good friends support you now and in the future.
