Dear Hurley Family; I'm a friend of Mike's, and am very sorry for your family's loss. Mr. Hurley sure passed on some great qualities in Mike, and I'm sure, the same could be said about the rest of you. Tim McArdle

Dear Hurley Family: Bill was such a character and lived his life on his terms. It is difficult to think of a world without him in it but he definitely left his mark. The first time I met Bill was in Michigan for his youngest son's graduation party which lasted all weekend. Bill had us in stitches and continued shocking us all weekend with his candid personal stories. Between the stories and him trying to sick his doberman pincher, Heidi, on me, I wasn't sure whether to fear him or to love him. I ended up loving him. My favorite and most memorable story he told that weekend was a story involving a particular alcohol that Rosemary drank which gave her the flexibility of a Barbie doll. I won't reveal any further details on that story. Bill was the world's greatest hugger. When he would say hello or good-bye he made each hug count as if it could be the last one. It felt like you were being wrapped up in a cocoon of love. He will be sorely missed. All our love and sympathy, Judy, Doug and Nate

Rosemary, Mike and Judy, We are so sorry to hear of Mr Hurley's passing, but we also know that God is in control and he has a plan for each of us. We know that Mr Hurley is with God now. We encourage the Hurley family to now that in this time of grief that God is there to help with the pain of losing Mr Hurley. The Ford family always enjoyed the time we spent with Mr Hurley at Mike and Judy's house. We will miss him. Please know that on this Sunday morning our prayers will be that God will help everyone in the Hurley family to find strength, love and peace of mind during this difficult time. If there is anything we as a family can do please don't hesitate to ask. Sincerly, Pamela and Tony Ford

Dear Aunt Rose, Billy, Denise and Michael, Today I feel a great loss. Greater than the loss of losing Uncle Bill, but the loss of all of you. Our families have been apart for so long and have grown so much. I think of you all often and wonder how you are and where you are. I wish things were different. I carry such fun memories of our dinners at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Sunday afternoon. We all had our special slippers that Grandma made for us. Playing down in Grandpa's basement, a virtual wonderland it was, even the mercury!!! Of Grandma giving us a nickel to go to the IGA to buy candy, my faviorite, watermelon jolly ranchers. Having you all right next door and I remember some scary dogs too! But I also remember alot of love and that is what I hold on to. I send you all my heartfelt sympathy for your loss today and pray that someday we'll once again be together.
