I was so sorry to read about Judge Warshawsky. He was always such a nice man and fair. I knew him from growing up in South Haven and he always spoke w/me whenever I would visit town after moving away and ask me about the family. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with all the family as you go thru this time of sorrow.

He will be greatly missed at the bridge on DDay services. He always gave the run down in his speech on Pearl Harbor. Him and his knowledge will be greatly missed.

I would like to send my condolences to the family. Judge Warshawsky was such a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed. He did alot of work with my father, Geno Dulik, with Legion work. I remember him attending my high school graduation party and also my wedding. When I heard of his passing, I was greatly saddened because he was such a pleasure to speak to and be around. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I knew Meyer both as a Judge before whom I appeared as a practicing attorney and later as a judicial colleague. In both capacities I had the greatest respect not only for his intellect but more importantly for his compassion. He brought a humanity to the bench that we should emulate.

I agree with the comments of Judge Shelton, and was always impressed with the dignity and composure of Judge Warshawsky. When I was a practicing attorney, I found him to be soft spoken and kind. I am confident he will be missed by family, friends, and community.

I had the pleasure of appearing before Judge Warshawsky as a practicing attorney. He was formal but friendly in his elegant courtroom, and I always found him to be fair and knowledgeable. He will be missed. My condolences and best wishes to his family.

Dear Mrs. Warshawsky: Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your husband. I don’t know of anything I can say to ease the pain of your loss. Any death leaves a void that is not easily filled; in Meyer’s case, his absence will be all the more sharply felt because his life was so rich and touched so many people. Dr. Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the author of On Death and Dying, wrote that “Death is a graduation. When we’re taught all the things we came to teach, learned all the things we came to learn, then we’re allowed to graduate.” As a World War II veteran, prosecutor, and judge, your husband was indeed a teacher, imparting lessons of public service and courage. We cannot understand why people we love are taken from us. I do believe that death does not end a relationship and that nothing can truly separate us from those we love. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Maura D. Corrigan Justice, Michigan Supreme Court

We both admired Judge Warshawsky for his both giving and recieving respect from all he met. His annual commemeration of Pearl Harbor Day is an example of his dedication to the community and its people that he served so well, for so many years.

Dear Mrs. Warshawsky and Family, I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Judge Warshawsky was a mentor and friend. I learned alot about the law, helping others, family, and life while working as a Law Clerk with Judge Warshawsky. I enjoyed spending time with him and learning. Following my clerkship, he inspired me to practice law in Atlanta, GA, and later to serve in the military, as a commissioned officer in the Georgia Army National Guard. His lessons served me well as a JAG in Iraq. I know he will be missed. My deepest sympathies. Sincerely, Philip Botwinik
