My Son Kurt Swigart grew up with Michael and were good friends throughout school and after school. I always enjoyed Mike when he came around. I am truly sorry for your Loss - but the memories that family and friends have will help keep his memory alive within all of us. My thought and prayers are with you.

Dear Aunt Pat, Remington and Dave, I'll never forget what a good, kind and fun cousin Mikey has always been to me. I remember when he took us to the stream in the woods. Everyone was catching minnows except me. I was trying so hard, but couldn't catch anything. I went behind Mikey to try to catch any that he had missed, and he turned around and said to me, as something was flying through the air, "Catch!" I caught the fish he threw to me, and he said, "Now you've caught one!" We all laughed so hard. I was thinking of him last week when I went to the beach and accidently caught a minnow in my bathing suit. I know he would have thought it was so funny, but I didn't get a chance to tell him about it. I'll always remember Mikey, and I love you all so much, and wish I could be there with you. Love, Emily xoxoxoxo

Patty, I have this vision of Mikey in my head when he was about 2 years old. He was always sitting on your lap, with his hair sticking out everywhere! You always took such good care of him, Dave and Remington, and couldn't have been a better mom or grandmother. You raised him to be a loving, caring man. He would give anyone anything he had to give, without ever thinking of himself first. He got that from you, you're the one who taught him that. He always showed all of his love and affection, never being embarrased to hug and kiss us, even as a teenager. And his sense of humor is one of the many things we'll all miss the most. I wish I could be there with you now, just to hug you. Just know that the whole family is always here for you, whenever you need anything at all. I love you so much. Debbie

Dear Pat & Remington, I'm so sorry for your lost. I enjoyed knowing Mike, he was a joy to be around. I know his heart was full of love for you, he loved to talk about the both of you. Mike was a hard working man, he was a kind and loving person. I will miss his visits to my office. If there is anything I can help with, please feel free to ask. Lovingly, Jan Hagy.

I would like to thank each and everyone of you for all you have done and for reaching out. i was touched at the amount of people that came, and for those that couldnt come but were there in mind, and heart. It was comforting to be around so much beauty and love. I dont think mike ever understood how many he touched. Thank you to our "friend" june for sharing her little piece of paradise on that day and for so many years before. The cottage holds alot of really good memories. On march 6th, 2005 mike became the proud godfather to a beautiful little girl named Madalyn. It is sad to know that she will never get to know him but i am sure he will watch over her forever. And remington was so loved by mike, there was always such a special bond between him and his daddy. I hope he will grow up understanding that he was mikes everything. Any man can be a father but it takes someone special to be a daddy. Mike was a daddy. I miss you so much my son I hope you have found the peace you so deserve. xoxoxox
