Frances was the sweetest of Aunts and the loviest of friends and I don't know how any one could ever be sad when in the prescence of her twinkling eyes and her smiling laughter. Aunt Frances held you captive by her imaginative, hilarious, narratives of what she found funny in life. We all listened to her transfixed, as if she were sitting on the center stage on some Broadway show.We would all fall forward, grabbing our sides with giggling, laugh out loud laughter. She loved us with her heart. She never asked for anything and yet in return we got more than we ever bargained for and nobody bargained a rummage sale like her. Just to know her was a pleasure that most people in this world never get the opportunity to have. And so, we had her for our enjoyment for many years and we don't want to let those wonderful, good times go. We will remember her as the strong woman she was. Frances was the same person no matter what unfortunate event came into her life, and believe me she had many. More than most would care to go through, more than most would live through and more than most would even think about. She was and always will be to me, the woman I will miss when celebrations roll around, the table will be quiet and empty. What will we do now? She made our days happy and fun. Our hearts lightened it's load when we sat down at the kitchen table with her. The heart of my Aunt Frances was family, friends and food to be shared over some past event, stories and just plain, old living. She was a true heart. A fine, woman who grabbed you with all she had and kissed your cheeks and told you the truth whether you liked it or not. She loved us and we loved her, she knew we did because anyone couldn't help but show their love when graced by the smile on my Aunt Frances face. We love you still and part of your heart lives in us and I hope some of us carry on your loving, kind tradition of just giving love even when life has you hanging upside down. I don't believe I ever saw my Anut Frances with a frown. The name Frances, from the old latin, means a free woman. Her middle name of Lillian stands for, flower Lily. I think her spirit and zest for life is that free flowing lily, dazzling all who has the chance to view it's breathtaking petals. I think I will plant some Lillies in my yard and paint a plaque and call it, "Welcome to Aunt Frances's garden."

Sorry to hear about the loss of a wonderful women and friend. I had the pleasure of knowing Frances and her husband and family for many years they worked for my grandparents Floyd and Betty Hazen in the 60's and 70's. She was such a wonderful person and i thank god i got to know her and her children. I remember all the times we picked strawberries and how much fun we had. my grandmother Betty and mother Norren through the world of Francis for she was a caring person always there for someone. I will never forget her hugs and sweet smile and her caring ways while we were working in the fields she always said kind and wise words. I will miss her and knowing she is at peace and seeing my grandparents again in heaven.God grant her soul peace.
