We were so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. And also that we're unable to be there. We have been friends for many, many years and I can still remember babysitting for you kids, all the years in 4-H and all the church activities we did together. Please know you have our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time and don't hesitate to call if you need anything.

I'm very sorry to hear about Eleanor's passing. She was a very nice lady. I just talked to her last Sunday; it's hard to believe she's gone. She'll be missed.

"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes because that’s the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides" – Audrey Hepburn
Nana, you were always there to watch us grow... help us shine... and build us up... You were the heart of our family... you taught us so many things and you modeled grace and strength from your 30 odd pairs of heels to your white ked tennis shoes... always a lady... you taught us to be passionate in life to focus own our goals... as we grew you were there with your strict guiding but always loving hand... you and Papa inspired us to use our talents, to work hard, and that no matter what God only gives us what we can handle... we rejoice in the fact you are home now... and we will always cherish you in our hearts and minds...

To all of the Tomsa Family,
Eleanor was a wonderful lady. I first met her when she worked at Hales. She was always there to help you. Dustin was with Eleanor alot when Pam babysat him. He always called her "Grandma Tomsa". She was always kind to him and went out of her way to talk to him when we came into Hales. Eleanor and Earl raised such wonderful children and grandchildren. You could tell by the smile on their faces and the twinkle in their eyes how much they loved them. They made a great family. I have many memories with all of you and am proud to be a friend. Eleanor, you will be missed.

To the Entire Tomsa Family,
Though it seems hard at times due to sorrow of the loss of a loved one - we as Christians have so much to rejoice about. We know that Grandma Tomsa is celebrating in Heaven with her Savior, and how could we wish her to be anywhere else! Hugs to all of you. May the Lord wrap you in His loving arms and grant you all peace and comfort in the coming days.
We wish that we were able to make it on Friday - but with schedules and weather, at this time it is just not feasible. Please know that we would be there if we were able!
Love,
David, Rachel (Brohn), Rebekah and Christina Giller

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:25-26, 30 NIV84).
Grandma Tomsa was a special woman to many people, and she certainly was special to our family. Her gentle manner and short stature concealed a powerful personality. I treasured her hugs and the love that she shared every time she saw me. She was an inspiration to me, and she is one of the reasons I continued with my studies to become a pastor. I praise God for the strong faith he planted in her heart. I thank God for her words of encouragement and her many prayers over the years. I pray for all of you, that the Lord will comfort your hearts with the promise that because Jesus lives, she lives too. May God fill your hearts with joy as you celebrate her new life in heaven!
In Christ,

Grandma T was such a great lady. They sure don’t make too many others like her. I will always remember going over to her house to play in the woods or race paper airplanes inside on rainy days. You will be surly missed but I’m sure Grandpa T is glad to see you again.

Dear Tomsa Family,
"Be faithful... and I will give you the crown of life." Revelation 2:10
I am reminded of Grandma Tomsa's love and faithfulness to her Savior, family and friends. We are saddened at her passing and will miss her smile, hugs, and words of encouragement. We rejoice that she now has her crown of life!
May God grant you peace and comfort during your time of sorrow. Know that your crown is waiting for you when you are reunited with Grandma Tomsa in heaven!

Dear Family, The Lord has put special people on this earth to be his angels and your mom was one of them. Now that her work is done he has called her home. Eleanor was kind, caring, and generous. Yet she was never afraid to speak her mind. I loved and respected her and looked to her as my role model. She will be missed by all who knew her. You are in my prayers.

We shall all remember Eleanor as to the Women ,Mother, and friend that she was.....Isn't it fitting that on her last Sunday on this earth she would be partaking with other fellow believers a foretaste of heavenly joy by recieving the Lords supper at Saint Paul Church. For we all know as she did,Eleanor trusted GOD's promise of her savior Jesus. That trust made her certain that because her savior arose from the dead and live,Eleanor too would be raised from the dead and she would see her redeemer face-to-face. We have that confidence too!(Paraphraised from Job 19:25-27

To the Tomsa family
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Eleanor was a tiny but powerful woman. The times I spent in South Haven with the family were some of the best times of my life. Earl and Eleanor were inseperable. They now are together again. May God always watch over all of you.
