Dear Davis Family,
My heart was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Davis. I have to say she and the Davis family gave me a purpose in life when they hired a very self conscious young girl to work at Rexall Drugs! She helped to paved the way for me to succeed as a housewife and a good employee. The Store picnics and Christmas parties were the BEST! It was like one big happy family! And...must not leave out the "SLUSH", the highlight of every gathering! I know Mrs. Davis is in a much better place and she was welcomed with open arms of the loved ones that passed before her and the Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you Mrs. Davis for your teaching abilities and the precious memories!
God Bless

Jim, Randy, Brian, and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Lois's passing. She was such a sweet and wonderful lady who I was so fortunate to know. I'll never forget when we both realized that we came from the same town of Monroe and she knew my folks and my Mom's brother "Billy Burkett". She even brought the year book to church the next week so I could see my Uncle Bill's photo. I was impressed that she took the time to find it for me. She will be missed so much but I know she's in God's loving arms now! I'd like to think that when we see the rays of the sun coming down from the sky it will be her smiling face! Miss you Lois!

Jim and family,
Delores and I want to express our deepest condolences to all of you. Lois was a especially sweet lady. She was one of the first to befriend us when we came to South Haven, some 20 years ago. God be with you all and may she rest in peace.

Mr. Davis and family,
I'm so sad to hear of the loss of Mrs. Davis. She was always a kind, sweet lady. When she would come into our store she always had a smile on her face. I have such fond memories of her at all the swim meets, talking to her in the hallways at school and of course the drug store. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Please accept my deepest condolence at the loss of a very special lady. She was one of my most favorite teachers. I would stay after school and help her clean up the kitchen after her class. She once wrote in my yearbook that she did not know where I got all of my energy, and that she could not keep up with me. She was very very special to me. She is no longer suffering as she is in Heaven with God and her loved ones who passed before her. She is preparing a place for all of her family to join her someday. When someone special dies, the song Holes in the Floor of Heaven comes to mind. In that song, when it rains, it is your loved ones crying because they miss you. I will miss Mrs. Davis. She is looking down from Heaven everyday and wishing you love. God bless her family.

Prayers are with the Davis family and many memories of Ms Davis will always be remembered in Home Ec class....Such as her cooking beef tongue and telling us we had to all taste it to get a passing grade.....well I passed mine of and I dont know if she knew it.....Doing clean up in the Kitchen stations to get ready for summer break and then having a water fight with the water sprayers,,,,probably deep down she gave up on our class. I am sure many people who wen to LC MOHR high school has lots of fond memories of this dear lady...God needed her help or a special job for her to do and she is smiling as we share our memories....
God Bless you Family

I wish to extend my condolences to your entire family. Lois was my favorite teacher. She was a friend when I needed one. She helped me throughout High School and extended her compassion to me as I went through my young girl struggles. She was a teacher that went above and beyond to help me. Even coming to my home. She will be deeply missed. I do praise God for her and thanks to the entire family for sharing this truly wonderful woman with the rest of us. Angels are singing.
