I have so many memories of things I shared with Leona. Music was important to both of us and all those years of singing together, I will treasure. I was her pianist and assistant for a number of years and friend. I do not know what I would have done without her in my young teen and adult years.

Mom~ I am so grateful for all of the wonderful years we had together and all that you have taught me....though it could NEVER be long enough. You are my beacon of strength and I will miss you more than I can even imagine....you left a legacy of Faith, Strength, Perseverance, and Love that will never be surpassed...You are now free of pain and are rejoicing with the Lord, Debbie, your parents, and all the loved ones who have gone before you. Though I am broken, I will hold on to you in my heart until we all reunite again, forever.

I believe I met your mom in Church long long ago as I did all you sisters! I just loved her she made us all smile and such a great person.. with a great Faith.. :) I can't be at the funeral today because of other appointments. But know Im there with you all in my thoughts.. I am sad to hear of your mother passing. I have fond memories of your mother and family living on St. Joseph Street. She was just such a sweetheart and I am blessed to have known her. When I would visit Aunt Shirley in the Senior Complex she would come over to see me and I always enjoyed those times together. My heart goes out to all of you.....

So sorry to hear of Leona's passing. She was a wonderful person, and I knew her from long ago. I am so glad that I could read the obituary and see her picture. Her sisters informed me of her passing.

Lori and Family, Your Mom was such a gift. I remember from childhood at the First Church of God. Her singing and her smiles and reciting from the Bible during Church. Still have the Bible that she had engraved for my graduation from highschool and presented me.
