Byron will be missed greatly. Though he hasn't been a pastor in over 15 years, he was one of the best I knew. He knew his theology well, and balanced it excellently with the people-skills he learned and practiced. He was more than a brother in law to me....he was a brother indeed.

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Byron. He fought a hard battle! Though it hurts to lose him, we are thankful that he is no longer suffering. We will miss him & his singing! Just know that we love you & are here for you at any time!

My sympathy to Byron's family. Way back before the twins were born and he and Karen were first married, he was helping pastor the Allegan Church. He was sooo good with my two girls and they really liked him, at keast 30 years ago, however pleasant memories of Byron. I know he will be missed!

My deepest sympathy to the Hudson family. I got to know Byron when I drove him to some of his treatment appointments at Lakeland. He was a very dear man and a faithful man. He and you will be remembered in my prayers.

I remember Byron when he pastored the East Detroit SDA Church and then moved to the Warren Church after the Conference closed the East Detroit Church. He was a great help and we loved him and his family the short time they served with us in Warren. God has promised up a life of no pain, no more sorrows when He comes again; but until then I know how you must miss him. My love to you all, John & Helen Schlaman

My wife and I are old friends of Byron from both Broadview Academy and as a pastor to us in the old East Detroit Chuch and partially in Warren, MI.
We dearly regret the Hudson Family loss and know Byron will be missed.
We hope to see him again in eternity. To Harlan and Denise we also especially send our greeting and regrets though we have not seen either since the old BVA Alumni weekend visits. GOD Bless your family loved ones.

Dearest Amy, Kate, Mindy, and family,
I just learned of Byron's passing. It was such an honor and privilege to work with your family during his courageous battle with cancer. He has left a legacy of love, strength, and faith in all of you. Although our interactions were brief, it was clear Byron was a much loved man, who also loved much. I would like to encourage each of you to remember his deep love and loyalty to his family and his extraordinary faith in God. I know he will be deeply missed by all of you. My thoughts and prayers will continue to be with you during this difficult time of grieving and transition. May God continue to hold you in His loving arms.

Dear Amy, Kate, Mindy and all Byron's family,
It has taken me this long to get on here. I want all of you to know my sadness for you. I know you miss him greatly. So do I. I am thankful for the help he was to me, and for the help I was able to give during his illness. I pray for God's strength for all of you.
