Sandy, You also lost your wonderful mother in the same summer that I lost my wonderful mother. What a terrific down-to-earth lady she was from that same generation! Flowers, veggies, canning and baking were the way of life and such an art! Our love and condolences to you and your family.

Sandy & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. I have such fond memories of her & your dad---and the jelly bismarks she used to make for me. So sweet & special, she was. I loved them both. Hope your memories & their love for you brings you comfort at this sad time.

So sorry I missed this notice. Marion was just as special as a young mother with two small children. She welcomed the neighbour kids (me included) and let us join in the "small farm" chores. I hope Sandy remembers stacking corn, enjoying watermelons and her black and white pony. Your mom was a dear and generous person! Keep her in your heart till you see her again.
