Hi Everyone,
We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was one of our favorite people and we always enjoyed spending time with her. We will miss her and her fabulous laugh. We always had so much fun with her. We have some great photos of our last visit and night out with the drag queens!
Love to all,
Elyse & Wendy

I am sorry to hear about about "Mrs Taradash" (always to me) passing as she was an important figure in my childhood and most others in the neighborhood. She always welcomed our group of friends into her house. My thoughts and prayers to all. Brad

I am sending condolences from the Wells family. My mother, Charlotte, is Beth Feinstein's sister, LaVerne's aunt. My mother, Charlotte, and father, Murphy, send their heartfelt condolences. I have fond memories of enjoying childhood summers in South Haven and spending time with Bambi. My sympathies to you all.

We remember LaVerne with much joy and love. Our summers in South Haven, visits in Chicago and one particular phone call in which she helped me very much. Our condolences to all,

Dear Roni, Rory and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I was lucky to have Laverne and your family move down the street from me over 35 years ago. Ever since I could remember, she would ask me about my Aunt Thelma, and talk about their friendship in high school. I would always listen to her and politely explain that I never had an โAunt Thelma.โ When I was 17, I accidentally met my cousin (Thelma's son) through a friend. Early the next morning, I told the story to Laverne. She immediately called my Aunt Thelma and put me on the phone to set up a meeting with her and my grandfather. Two weeks ago, my wife, two daughters and I spent Thanksgiving with my Aunt Thelma and 25 relatives. So I was not only lucky that Laverne and her family moved down the street from me, but PRIVILEGED to have known her. Her decision to get involved has had a profound effect on my family today, and for generations to come.
Our deepest sympathy,
Robbie Citron, Thelma Stoler and Family
