Scott, Janette, Mark, Paul, Sue, Gayle and everyone else - so sorry about the loss of your dad and husband. I know you have many, many great memories to hang on to and that will help you get through this difficult time. Hoping that the thought of him being at peace and no longer in pain will help also. I remember your dad down on the floor wrestling with the grandkids from the time they could walk, heck even before that. He always had a big smile on his face and I see that resemblance especially in Janette and Kaley - beautiful smiles like dad and grandpa. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our heartfelt condolences to you, Sue, and to all your children and grandchildren. We will miss Dick. He was a stand-up guy who always had a good word for everyone. We're both so happy that we had a chance to spend a few hours with you again last spring and were so impressed with Dick's strength and positive spirit at that time. His passing leaves a void for all who knew him. Were there more like Dick the world would be a far better place.

Irene,Sue,Mark,Scott,Janette and Paul So sorry to hear about Dick. Pam called us. We are in FL. Wish we could be there. We had some great times with Dick in the booster club at CHS. Many of Dick's classmates and friends made wonderful, warm comments on our FB announcement. I'm sharing some of them for Sue & family to see.
Jerry Dombrowski: I am so sorry and saddened to hear this news. Dick and Sue were so hospitable and instrumental in opening up their home and keeping us all reunited for so many years. My sincere condolences to his entire family and to all of our classmates who will miss him dearly.
Donna Joslin Tellam: This just isn’t right! Dick was such a wonderful man and a great classmate! This is another sad day for the Comstock High School Class of 1961!
Trudy Laudenslager…I’m so sorry to hear about his passing. Prayers go out to the Evans family.
Tom Boven: Our prayers to Dick's extended family. Dick was blessed with an easy manner which attracted many to him. Remember his full court basket shot in junior high bb? He laughed and did not make a fuss about it even though the rest of us were in awe.
Betty Joy Westerhouse: Dick was one of the nicest guys I have ever known. Way back in elementary he was nice—through high school he was nice. So easy to talk to and ready to help if you needed it. Rest in Peace, Dick. Thank God you are no longer in pain.
Sharron Clawson: Sad news; our class is very close and it affects all of us. Dick opened his home to us many times; such a loving and caring guy. He will be missed by all the people he touched in one way or another. Sending prayers to Sue and the family.
Kathy Beyersdorf Miller: Sad to hear the news. He was one of my favorite classmates. Ralph and I enjoyed being at his home for our class reunions. We will remember all the fun we had there! Prayers to Sue.
Fran Brown: So sorry to hear of Dick’s passing; he was such a great guy. Thoughts and prayers to Sue and the family. RIP Dick.
James Kirk: Sorry to hear this. May God keep him safe.
Joan Myers Golkosky: My thoughts are with you Sue, and the kids…Rest in Peace Richard.
Patricia Ann Shanley: He blessed us all.
