I can picture grandpa waiting for grandma barefoot and both smiling. She is dancing with God now, free from here. I can imagine her laughing and just being FREE!

I remember Gladys and her beautiful flower garden.I think her glads were the best in the garden. Are thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I have wonderful memories of time spent with Grandma...fishing for perch with her on the South Haven pier, learning at her side how to make better pie crust, picking blackberries, attending worship service with her when I'd spend the weekend, walking together along the edges of the fields and into the woods. I'm a better person for having spent time with her. And I am so glad she is in her true country, with the Lord and with Grandpa, healthy and whole and happy.

Sorry to hear about Gladys' passing. I'm sure she is happier and in a better place. I wasn't in town today for the service, so I wanted to let the family know that we are thinking about them. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you..

We express our sympathies to the family. I personally have many fond memories of our families visiting, attending church and enjoying the excitement of Gerhardt (Glady's husband) firing his large collection of muzzle loaders and other weapons. Of course, we got to fire those weapons too, impressed with the smell of black powder and clouds of smoke.
