Roland was a good man, last of the great Wagner-Clan uncles to pass. Roland will soon be sitting in a re-union poker game in heaven, with uncles Adolph, Phil, Ed, Kenny, my dad β Pat, Frank, Lee, and Bob with GPA Felix. They often played or observed the game on Sunday evenings at the farm. Remember Rolandβs deep hearty laughs and chuckles as these guys often picked on each other. When I saw him last July, we talked briefly about politics, family, food, and that Dorothy was older than him. Told him his sons turned out good and he brought me up to date on what Sally and Roger were up to. He knew I would see Doug later that day. My heartfelt condolences to your families and friends, believe that Roland is in a peaceful place, where all dreams come to pass.

Dorothy, Doug, Sally and Roger - We are so sorry for your loss - Roland
and Dorothy were always such wonderful neighbors to my parents. It
was nice to know they were there just across the ravine. Roland was
a real gentleman and, yes, what a laugh he had. God bless you all!

To all of the Getman Family.
I am sad to hear of the loss of Roland. (Rolly as my Dad always called him)
Growing up I would her Dad speak of him often. May a star shine brighter in the heavens with his arrival. God Bless.

Dear Getman family,
I'm saddened by the loss of my uncle Roland. I didn't know him well, but I do have fond memories of playing Pit with him at Thanksgiving at the Rod & Gun Club. His booming voice and card deals were amazing to behold. Janet Getman forwarded the obituary to me. My condolences.

Dear Aunt Dorothy, Doug, Sally, and Roger,
Janet passed on the word to Jeff who forwarded the message to me. I was so sorry to hear of Uncle Roland's passing. Like Jeff, I'll always remember his delightful laugh at our family gatherings at the Rod and Gun Club. May your memories of him bring you comfort in the years ahead.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
love,
Debbie & Bob
