I'm in Texas for my oldest daughters wedding and heard from cousin Tim that I lost a very dear old friend. Pat and I had many great times together, I have fond memories of arguing with him about just about anything! Remember when Pat had his 64 (?) impala. Worked at Dick Phillips service station (now Hardins) by Roosters, drinking beer and, Pat installing a new tranny in his chevy and hooking up the linkage to his 4 speed backwards! Also, giving directions to a bus load of tourists (at the gas station) that wanted to go to the old Silver Beach amusement park. Pat told them to go about 10 miles out across the Blossomland bridge! I'm still laughing! The O'Brein bros drinking beer in the gareage at the old home stead (Mike & Annettes house), and Mrs Obrien screaming on the phone at the neighbor across the street who lived down by the Ulerys. Both were loud enough they didn't really need phones! Mrs O'Brien was a wonderful lady that I can't say enough nice things about. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Uncle Pat will live FOREVER in my memories. He was the most kind, thoughtful smart ass I've ever known. Someone who was always up for a good laugh(mostly teasing us kids!) or good argument...oh how I loved him so! The occasional beer or swipe of his candy bowl...I am blessed to have had him in my life and my children loved their Great Uncle Pat. I'm sure he's up there sticking his tongue out at Madison right now! lol:) We now have another angel lingering above us...however I'm quite sure he had something to say about wearing those "stupid wings"...I bet he didn't win that argument!
Always in our hearts always by our side.
Love you forever Uncle Pat!
