Betty was a part of my life almost as long as I can remember. You will never meet a kinder person, she never met a stranger only friends she wasn't acquainted with yet. She touched many lives and all who knew her will miss her.

Betty was a wonderful person who will be missed by many. I was very fortunate to have had her in my life. It's sad knowing that she is no longer with us but I'm happy knowing she is with Jesus. I'm sure she is smiling and rejoicing in Heaven .... no more pain or suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends that are left behind to grieve her loss.

Aunt Betty was like a second mother to me, she has been part of our family from the time we met her 50 years ago. Her sense of humor will be missed. I remember a time she was cooking something and I was eating it as fast as she could cook them, she laughed and told my mother ( Burt King ) " he wouldn't be eating those like that if he knew what they were" I stopped and looked at her and asked what were they, she replied, Rocky Mountain Oysters and continued to tell me what they were. the look on my face must have been something because those two laughed at me till they cried.
So many memories and not one bad one, I loved her dearly and will miss that unique laugh.

Surely Betty has a heart of gold. I imagine there's a great reunion with Howard, with the best things to eat. I know I sure tried to learn the secrets of making Spanish rice.
She always has à good thing to say, and you can never leave without feeling her love. I will surely miss her.

Aunt Betty was such a special person to everyone. She loved everybody and treated all like they were her family. She will be very missed by all that knew her.
She tough me so much as a young girl, I will always remember our trips to Tennessee every year, fishing trips, going to watch her play bingo, all the yummy cooking, but mostly all the love she showed. Thank you Aunt Betty for being such a beautiful part of my life!

Betty is playing cards with Howard with one hand and has a fishing pole in the other. So many memories, laughing and crying. She prayed for her family and friends and anyone she thought might could use a prayer.

Dearest Friends, My heart goes out to you as I read of the passing of one of the best!! Betty touched my life through you kids and through her loving welcoming way to all who passed through her door. I remember always feeling the love whenever we'd come to visit! (Which was a LOT)! I can only imagine what a great Mom she must have been and I know she will be missed by many! I am just now reading of her passing 2/19/2016 so please forgive the lateness of this condolence, and please do not think it as anything less than if it were written in a more timely ... time . I'm just sorry I wasn't able to attend her memorial, I would have loved seeing you all and saying Farewell till we meet again to Betty. May God be with you all and Grant you His Peace. ((HUGS)) Your Friend Always, Sharon
