A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. We must hold onto the memories we had with him here on this very earth. I didn't know him as well as others but I remember going with my dad to gma Marrys house and sitting around watching T.v. and chilling with uncle Steve.

The last time I saw Steve was at our Aunt Elizabeth's funeral. My mom, his Aunt Chris, really enjoyed seeing him then and will be so disappointed she missed the memorial. I was unable to be at the memorial service today, hence my mom couldn't be there. She always joked with Stevie and enjoyed the days of fishing on the river. He also really loved his Grandma Rumzek too, which spoke volumes of his character. Rest in peace cousin. We will miss you. Also, our sympathy to Steve's wonderful children/grandchildren.
