I love you Susan! I will miss you! You were such an awesome friend and colleague. I always knew you would brighten my day when I popped in to say good morning. I am still thinking about that haircut idea! I think of you every time I eat a doughnut from Golden Brown Bakery. Our Friday morning doughnut days were the thing of legends! Say Hi to Carolyn for me. Susan was a wonderful, caring individual, who went out of her way to help so many others. God Bless her and keep her.

My deepest condolences to the family members of my dear friend Susan. Susan was a Covert Icon, loved by everyone in the community and surrounding communities. Your pain and lost is shared by more than you will every know. I so look forward to the day when the dead "IN CHRIST" shall rise and those that are alive and remain shall once again join our departed love ones. Once again I will have the pleasure for communicating, no longer from a distance but face to face with my sister and friend. May God bless and comfort you during these difficult moments and may God provide a special blessing to Harriet for her care, devotion and unwavering love for her baby sister

Prayers lifted for Susan's family and friends. One of my fondest memories of Susan was when I happened upon her and Lori Nielsen laughing uncontrollably in the main stairwell of Central School after a day of teacher in-service. I am certain she and Lori are laughing together once again.

Prayers and condolences go out to Susan's family and dear friends who knew her best. I had the privilege of knowing her during my first two years of teaching. With Susan's take charge personality, she was a leader of her peers, well liked, and the only student that had the umph to approach me and ask to touch my red afro. Missing our summer visits from time to time. Save a seat for me and we will catch up on the news one day good friend. I learned a whole lot more from you than you ever did from me.

The 11 years I spent in Susan's room as her classroom assistant were 11 of the best years of my life. Each year on the first day of school Susan said Mrs. Hill is my left arm and left leg. You will treat her with the same respect that you will give me. They did. I'll never forget all the children you took under your wings. If you heard a child needed something, you bought it. If you heard that a child or their complete family, would have no Christmas, you made sure they did and all with your own money. I have so many memories of the fun things we did, I could go on and on. If I have one favorite memory of working with Susan, it would have to be the year that we had a certain male student who disappeared each day at Math time and the things you did, or made me do, to get said child back Susan never had any biological children of her own but was mother to hundreds. I love and miss her. in our room

Ms. Peoples was my 5th grade teacher. I had no idea she passed until I just happened upon this today. I have nothing but incredible memories of Ms. Peoples. She made class a joy and she was so passionate about education and her students. I'll never forget my personalized award she gave me at the end of the year. "I'll Rush to Finish my Work so I Can Read" My love goes out to her entire family.
