Dear Lisa, Stacey, Emily and Samantha, The Light of Christ truly shown through Dan. I had the pleasure of being secretary on the St. Basil School Board when Dan was president. We often joked that we made a great team! His love of God, St. Basil Church, and St.Basil School were always evident, from Knights' events to Ribs 'n' Raffle. Hie enthusiasm and excitement were infectious. We will miss his positive spirit and his warm smile. Heaven is a happier, more peaceful place today with Dan Simon in it. God bless you with His peace, Lisa, Stacey, Emily and Sam; and rest in peace, Dan Simon, dear friend!

I regret that I didn't take the time to see Dan during his final days. But I have been saying rosaries for him almost every night. He always knew me by name. A couple of times I had to ask him his name and once I remembered we always to had little chats before and after Mass. Now I realize where I remember him from..........Value Drugs. He did so much for the Church and now he will do so much more from Heaven.

Dear Lisa, Stacy, Sam, and Emily, The world truly lost a great man. He certainly made the world a better place with his smile, his dedication to his family and church, and his giving of himself whenever it was needed. I so admired him and your whole entire family. I remember Katie and Sam at age three in dance class, and I am so glad our girls remain friends even today. God bless you all. We will keep your family in our prayers.

Before I read the existing posts, my thought had been that if Dan had enjoyed his adult life as much as he'd enjoyed his youth when I knew him (grade school and high school), then he must have had a pretty good life. Truly this is the case; clearly he continued his path of being the entertainer as well as an all-around great guy through the years. I'm so sorry for your loss.

The first time I met Dan was when we served together on the board for St. Basil Endowment years ago. He and Lisa didn't even have children yet, and he was already giving his time and talent to St. Basil's. I admired that giving spirit that never ended. His always greeted everyone as a friend and his smile and laugh will be missed.

Dear Lisa and girls: We are so sorry for the passing of your dearest husband and father. He was truly a man of great Faith who gave countless hours to his church and his community. His contagious smile and kindness will always be treasured. We always enjoyed getting our prescriptions at Value Drugs where he truly exemplified "Service with a Smile" and because of what he started, we continue to do business there with the great staff he trained. God Bless all of you. Our Prayers and Deepest Sympathy. Heaven has truly gained an Angel and Dan's legacy lives on in all of you.

I was saddened to hear that Dan passed this week, I will miss running into him around the community. I am, however, glad that he is out of pain and that his personal suffering is now replaced with forever peace and joy in the presence of his Creator. I pray for God's comfort and peace for Lisa and the girls; find comfort in God's Word which says for the believer, absence from the body is presence with Christ. Dan fought the good fight but now his race is run. May God's grace be with you all during this difficult time.

Dear Lisa and Family, How saddened I was to hear of Dan's passing. I had the privilege of working with him as a group leader in the Confirmation program at St. Basils. What a wonderful and faith- filled man he was. He was a great example for the group leaders as well as the students. During this difficult time, I pray that the Lord will bless you all and fill you with His strength and peace. There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord greeted him, gave him a hug and said, "Well done my good and faithful servant." Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are the wonderful legacy that he left to this world.
