Loyd was a good friend of mine and when we got together, we always had good talks and were very comfortable together. He loved doing the reunion stuff and enjoyed when a small group of Rams came into town early and we had coffee at the Bakery. He loved helping and working with people and age did not matter. I remember when we had the opportunity to clean out the Mike G. house and the proceeds went to our class fund. He was faithful and coming every day along with his wife lela, Sue and Jim Bard and Michael and myself. He was like a bouncer by the door and we all felt safe with Loyd there. He enjoyed life and I enjoyed him. He will be missed and if Heaven was going on right now, which I think comes later, he'd be up there hanging with Michael and just being happy. Love to his large family of brothers and sisters and to Lela and his two daughters.

Such a kind, sweethearted man. He drove me to many of my doctors appointments for my seizures and when he told me he volunteered as a driver he earned my respect.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lloyd was kind and caring. There for awhile he was like a second father to me. I never did get to thank him or Lela for everything they did for me. I really appreciated you both. I pray for your family and I know he watching over you all.

It's a sad thing to learn of Loyd's passing, for he certainly did more than his share to make the world a brighter place for everyone. I remember him from school and always looked forward to seeing him at our class reunions. My deepest sympathy to his family.
