The bait shop was just up the road from me growing up. Gathering bottles to return for candy was our weekly ritual. A smile and a story was always available there. We speak often and fondly of the Strubles.

Growing up, I also lived down the street from Mrs. Struble. My siblings and I used to go to her bait shop and her ceramic shop. I still love, and treasure, my ceramic figure that she and I created over 35 years ago. I will always have fond memories of her when looking at it. Prayers for the Struble Family.

Saddened to hear of Aunt Bern's passing. So many fond memories of her. I have a quilt that she stitched completely by hand and a few ceramic pieces she made. I will cherish them, as well as the memories, always...she was such a kind soul and had a heart with enough love for everyone around her ❤
