Elaine, I am so sad. Sometimes Ted seemed larger than life, his smile was so big and his laughter from the gut. During my years at Palisades I thoroughly enjoyed knowing the both of you and am so sorry this happened to Ted.

Elaine I don't even have the words to tell you how bad I feel about this. We have talked about this moment for quite a while but like we said that now it's real it is devestating. I will always be honered and thankful for the close friendship that Ted and I had for 17 years and was thankful for the trust and friendship that we built over that time and allowed me to run the marina for three years so Ted could focus on getting better. Please know that I'm here to help you in any way that I can and I can say that I will miss Ted for the rest of my life and will miss him terribly. When I think of all the laughs we shared together it brings a smile to my face.

Elaine & Family, So sad to here of Ted's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tough time. Getting to know Ted at Palisades as a friend and mentor was truly a blessing. We can recall many good times with Captain Ted fishing off his pontoon boat. So glad I was able to visit with him the last time I was in town. We'll miss his bigger then life personality and as Robin says the best head of hair ever. Ted holds a special place in our hearts as he introduced us as a couple many years ago. Rest in peace old friend and enjoy your new marina in the heavens. God Bless

Elaine and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was hoping I'd remember when you both left Palisades, but as usual nothing comes back that well defined anymore, except that I do remember Ted always welcomed people with such a nice big smile, like we were all his best long lost friend at work, likely he was like that for everyone. He will be remembered for that smile and being such a nice man. I don't remember how many years I knew both you Jones and only after seeing you together once did it dawn on me, oh they are together. I'm sorry that's not the case anymore.

Dear Family, I always knew "Ted" as "Brunie" when I was growing up in South Haven. I saw him years ago at a family gathering at the lake cottage belonging to Penny's mother-in-law. My first words to him were "Could I still call you "Brunie". He laughed, put his arm around me and said "yes". I never did though. As he definitely was "Ted" then I remember he was very proud of his marina and though he liked birds, he did not want them living on his decks.

No matter what the situation Ted was there to cheer you up. I was lucky to be able to interface with Ted both at work at Palisades but within the South Haven Community. We both had a love of Lake Michigan, boating and working on electrical projects.. I am sure I saw him just a couple of weeks ago driving the Jeep with his dog. South Haven has lost a favorite son.

Elaine and family, Ted will be remembered and truly missed by so many. He was a person I loved working with and a person that embraced friendships. Although the years seem to slip by so quickly I canβt remember a time when I didnβt feel better about life after our visits. He could make you smile, laugh and just make you see the positives in life no matter what was happening. May Godβs blessings be with you.

Ted was a good friend; we grew up together in the old South Haven Green Street neighborhood. Reminiscing of fun memories from childhood and of course working together at Palisades for all those years we had many laughs. Tedβs sense of humor made your day better. He will be missed by us all. God bless him
