What a memorable woman! A life well filled with purpose and people and the connections that brought so many together. How lucky we have been to have her for our friend and neighbor for these past fifteen years. When people ask where I live, my response is "do you know Elizabeth and George Miller, they're my neighbors" and invariably the response is yes! Always involved and committed, and having a great time while doing it!

Sorry for your loss, Mr. George Miller, children, family and friends. As an adopter of Bryan's grave and through Peter Ouillette we came into contact with each other. It was a very special contact for which we are very grateful and remain. In our thoughts we are with you and your family. Rest in peace Mrs. Elizabeth Miller.

So sad to hear this news of Elizabeth's passing. She remains in our hearts and in our souls. She will be remembered for her social justice work and the passion she had that made change happen! Love to George. Elizabeth was truly something special and we won't forget her.

George, I was saddened to learn of Elizabeth's death. She was a delight. Remember, she gave me the opportunity to teach at the college level. Through that first semester, she was supportive, encouraging, and caring. I so enjoyed visiting with her. Kalamazoo, KVCC, and South Haven were so blessed to have her. Take care, My Friend.

I worked with Elizabeth at KVCC. Although we worked in different departments I got to know her from various seminars, meetings and just chatting in the mail room. I admired her passion and forge ahead attitude. Her students loved her as did her colleagues. Godspeed, Elizabeth!

RIP dear Elizabeth. Met her through Our Town Players. Always hoped I'd get to see and talk with her again some day. She holds a special place in my heart. Her laugh, her drive, her politics...unforgettable. Condolences to George and family.

Through our many years of friendship, we have come to believe that Elizabeth's influence and values will live on. Her love of animals, especially cats, will continue through the Al-Van Human Society. Her love of learning, teaching, and support of students, lives on through the AAUW Scholarships and her grandchildren's educational pursuits. Her love of participatory democracy, human rights and equal rights will live on through our conscientious observations of local, state, national, and world events, and through our votes. We miss Elizabeth's vibrant presence, her hearty laugh and love of life, and her concern for others. We'll drink a toast (white wine, of course) in gratitude for her life well-lived and well-remembered.

It was a happy day when Elizabeth met George in Angel Hall at the University of Michigan. Their maize and blue marriage produced four wonderful children an two fantastic educational carers. George became a virtuoso teacher educator and Elizabeth became a master English teacher and versatile woman of the theatre. She will be missed. by all who knew her.

From the moment I met Elizabeth 20+ years ago, I loved her. You always knew where she stood on any subject. She was a person of strong convictions and a woman of action. She enriched my life and will live on in so many delightful memories.
