It's funny how God works, Our last Earthly encountered with Brian was on December 24th. He stopped in the shop with Kenny. Brian was speaking with Randy and myself as usual. We were laughing and he would always talk about the time that he worked with Randy's brother. I met Brian 13 years ago and there has never been a time that he was never the same. He would speak and have a smile on his all the time even when he was down. I have never met a more humble man that truly cared about others more than he did himself. Heaven has Truly gained another Faithful Servant. May you Rest In Heaven Now! You Will Be Missed. Thanks for loaning Brian to us for 13 Years are customer and Friend! May God Bless His Family

Brian, my dear friend will be so greatly missed. His laugh, his smile-- will miss his phone calls just to say hello. A wonderful man that I have known for many years. My condolences to the family, Brian will always be watching over you. Much love to my dear friend.

I've had only a few father figures in my life and Brian Barker is definitely one of those people. I'm proud to call him a step-dad. Being a foster brother for over 12 years to a huge, loving family and he is the only father they've ever known, one of the only father figures I've ever known. I don't have a real dad, only surrogates, and he was an incredible person. He was once a Sheriff in Chicago, an armored-truck driver for a bank, etc; SO MANY MEMORIES I have of spending time with him in the back yard, just living life, enjoying each-other's company. "Step-father" is such a shitty title. He was a father, a brother, a cousin, and a husband. I've never had a real person to call "Dad", only step-dad's, foster fathers, grandfathers, and father-figures, BUT I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM THE SAME!

I can't believe this is really happening. He is losing his life in the hospital right now. This is unreal. :'( I just want him to have peace and for there to be no more pain. :'( I love you Brian.
