In remembrance of Mr. Charles Merriweather:
It is with sorrow that I see Charles passed from this earth. I hope it is to a better, well-deserved place. I was happy to have known Charles at a much happier time for us when we played together as children on the playground of Indiana Elementary School and near his house on Maple St. I was happy to briefly reconnect with Charles when we saw each other on one of my last trips to South Haven when my mother passed away. That was a nice, warm feeling to see each other and remember good times.
May he find peace and may his family know I remember a fine man. Dan Anderson, but I was “Mickey” to him, Mable and good, old friends.
